Situation 1
There is a generation gap between my granny and me. In my opinion, she is old-fashioned and doesn’t want to accept new styles and trends in clothes. Some days ago, my granny offered me to buy some new clothes as a present for my coming birthday. This weekend she wants to take me to some shopping centre to buy some new clothes for me. I don’t want to buy the clothes that my granny likes, but, on the other hand, I don’t want to offend my granny. What should I do?

My mother, my father, my grandparents and even my uncle are doctors. They all want me to be a doctor, too. They always say that I should study better to get good education. But as for me, I’m not sure if I want to be a doctor. I want to be a musician. What should I do? Should I just follow my parents’ advice?

I’m often rude with my parents, but in truth, I don’t want to be rude at all. Quite often, when I’m talking to my parents about my school progress, I become angry. I know that my behaviour offends my parents but I’m so impatient. What should I do?
